Poolrite, established in 1978, was founded by Peter Wolpert in Sydney’s western suburbs. Today Poolrite is one of Australia’s largest and most experienced manufacturers of pool and spa equipment.
Over the years, Poolrite has successfully introduced many new innovative products, including the PM Super Quiet (SQI) pump (1982), the first salt chlorination systems for Australia and overseas (1986), and the Smart Valve (2000).
In 1999, Poolrite was purchased by Australian-owned Palmer Group from GWA and relocated its manufacturing from Sydney to Brisbane several years later (2002).
In 2007, Poolrite launched MagnaPool, an innovative system that redefines water quality standards and provides healthy, environmentally-friendly mineral water for your swimming pool.
In 2008, Poolrite celebrated its 30-year anniversary as a strong Australian Pool Industry leader.
In June 2013, Evolve Supply Chain Pty Ltd successfully won the bid to acquire all of Poolrite's assets.
August 2nd 2013, The Evolve Group of Companies officially announced completion of the asset acquisition of Poolrite Pty Ltd and Poolrite Research Pty Ltd. Evolve holds un-abridged ownership of the Poolrite brand and products after it went into Administration and subsequent liquidation early 2013.
Today, Poolrite remains passionately committed to innovation, to creating and distributing products of the highest quality, and to maintaining the highest service standards in the industry.
